There is something comical about the idea that social media has now taught me more about household appliances then owner manuals or school.

one can learn more from forums for ostomy patients —directly from those who are dealing with the condition—than one can learn from any doctor.

yes! I have learned more then any doctor tells you about for almost all of my families medical issues on social media sites as well! Great point!
